    Scotia Bowmen will be hosting Nova Scotia's first FITA 1440 of the year


    If you are wondering at what distance you shoot here is the breakdown

    Male; Senior and Junior 90/70/50/30 affraid

    Male Cadet/Master 70/60/50/30

    Female Senior/Junior 70/60/50/30

    Female Cadet Master 60/50/40/30

    Male and Female Cub 60/50/40/30

    Male and FGemale Precub 30/25/25/20


    Cost 15.00,
    Free for those 12 and under
    Families 25.00

    Practise at 8 Scoring at 9



    Lunch will be served

    This is another opportunity to get in the records book

    To encourage as many particpants as possible we are going to have a noncompetative category. If you do not want to shoot the sanctioned distances then we will set up shorter distances based on demand. We will award medals but just not submit those scores to Archery Canada. We would love to see more people shooting the outdoor[/color)

    It was a great weekend at Scotian Bowmen!! First day was a exercise in endurance with hours of shooting in a downpour. The next day saw an improvement in the weather allowing Tom Riley, Master Men's Compound, to beat the National Record for a FITA 1440 with 1362 points, beating the old record by 3 points.
