New archer (9 months ago) using compound release would like to take some instruction to aid in improving skills. Is there a skills improvment course available in the province? Would prefir in central area of province, but willing to travel. (From Pictou county area). Don't see much on website to indicate that AANS is offering any, but maybe I am missing it.

Re: Archery Instruction
Springfieldestate, contact your local club. They should have a qualified coach there which would be able to get you on the right track in upgrading your archery skills.

Check out the "Larry Wize" weekend clinic in New Brunswick. Not quite central Nova Scotia but you won't get that kind of coaching anywhere in the Maritimes.

Unfortunately there is not a local archery club in Pictou County. Is there any archers out there interested in starting one??

Re: Archery Instruction
Springfieldestate, contact Bruce Spears in Westville. He used to run the Northumberland Archery Club in Pictiou County. He should be able to help you in finding what you are looking for.
