Here is an answer that I just posted on another questions but it answers your needs.
that depends on what you want. Do you want a compound bow, a recurve or a long bow. since you were shooting a long bow then i'm guessing you want tot shoot traditional archer, recurves and long bows. What ever you choose I think that you should go with samick. They are a very good company and make a huge percent of todays traditional bows.
The big thing is, if you are not willing to put at least 150-200 dollars in to the price, than don't even waste your time looking at new bows. There is almost nothing you can get for under that while still mantaining quality. If you want to look at used bows go to ebay or craigslist and take a look at what they have.
