I recieved this e mail from Alfie O' Quinn and was asked to post it on this site.
Alfie,
It has been some time since my new bow arrived and I have been waiting for the proper time to personally thank you and the members of Pinegrove Archers and the bow community at large for the financial support and kind comments made to me.
Not having been a member of Pinegrove very long and not knowing that many people both within the club and the archery community – the support was incredible.
I would have liked to have done this at a more personal level by expressing this at a meeting, but as you know only a few members have shown up on Wednesday nights and at sanctioned/unsanctioned shoots and it didn’t seem that the time was right because of this.
Having said that I hope that this letter will reach out to all the members of Pinegrove and the Archery Community and I wish to formally thank you and all members of Pinegrove who helped me through this time.
The bow that was stolen was special to me as I won my first medal with it at a Sanctioned Provincial Shoot but the bow I have now is even more special than that. Every time I step to the shooting line I will remember the kindness and financial support of all who contributed to the replacement cost. The generosity and goodwill that has been shown to me concerning this will never be forgotten. Thank you all!
Sincerely,
Harvey Flemming
