Hi all,I would like to know if I can go and shoot the provincial competition in June?Do I just need an AANS membership?Or do I have to have shot so many sanctioned shoots before I can attend the provincials?thanks in advance.

Yes, you can just show up and shoot. AANS memberships are as simple as filling out the form from the website and mailing it in with a cheque. They will then send a card in the mail to you.

Only residents of NS can be AANS members. The Provincial champion must be an AANS member so if a non AANS member shoots in first place, he winns the club medal and first place, the highest scoring AANS member is stillthe Provincial Champion, even though he didn't place first.

Can someone confirm if aans memberships will be able to be purchased on the spot and some hotels that are near by, thanks shane

There are 3 hotels at the airport, plus the Inn on the lake. I have been told AANS memberships will be available.

From what I have been told, Registration is a little after 8 and the plan is for shooting to begin about nine both days.
