Finally after 13 years of hunting!
This is a good little bear, probably about 150 lb. Dressed out to 112. It came out after about 65 minutes of being in the stand. Right around 5:35. It expired very quickly. The shot was about 18m and the bear travelled about 10m after the shot. Used the same bow and release I used at target nationals. This is my first success and I very proud of it.
It should be noted that a 4 person team is responsible for this success. #1 Guide Perry Nicholson scouted the site and then was aided by Chuck Rudolf and Jeff Ryan in constructing the stand and baiting. Jeff Ryan ran the video for the whole event and did an awsome job of waking me up in time to shoot.
